Description

Error from surface-temperature sensor for boiler heating element
overtemperature (sensor is measuring a temperature >150 °C for longer than 5 sec. for boiler heaters running in the boiler)

Error correction

Possible reason for fault	Corrective action
Limescale in boiler due to elevated mineral content in the water	Have boiler descaling performed, Treat connected water to meet the specification Renew water filter
Foaming in boiler when boiling due to not using original Convotherm cleaning agents	Use original Convotherm cleaning agent
	Switch off the appliance Restart the appliance after 10 sec. If the error still appears, contact the responsible service partner (make a note of the message on the display) Please note: If a boiler rinse is recommended on the screen, allow and confirm it
