overtemperature (if temperature in boiler is measured at above 130 °C for longer than 5 sec.)

Possible reason for fault	Corrective action
Foaming in the boiler during cooking due to the use of a non-original Convotherm cleaning agent that has a strong tendency to foam	Use original Convotherm cleaning agent
High salt / mineral content of water	Use suitable water filter
Water very soft and still too many minerals in the water (check water hardness proportionally to conductivity)	Use suitable water filter
